Job Description
JCL Investments inc. is currently inviting applications for experienced Dozer and Excavator Operators for work at various construction projects throughout NL.
Responsibilities
• Operate Dozer or Excavator and other heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner
• Work will involve stripping, moving and stockpiling various materials, loading, and placing materials to finish grade
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
• Participate in daily FLRA’s and Hazard Assessments
• Report all near miss/incidents
• Work to plans and specifications as directed by superintendent
• Participate in daily work planning
• Operate other equipment as required
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating bulldozer and/or excavator on a large scale heavy civil construction project
• Valid WHMIS 2015 Training Certificate
• Valid Trenching and Excavation Training Certificate
• Valid Power Line Hazards training Certificate
• Must possess Valid Driver’s License with Class 8 Endorsement and clean driver’s abstract
• Pre-employment background checks may be required which may include employment verification, employment references, education/certification check, and criminal record check.
• Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening may be required.
