We operate one of the largest fleets of construction equipment within Atlantic Canada. Johnson’s Construction Ltd. has developed, implemented and maintains a comprehensive and pro-active Health and Safety Program. We assure the safety and health of our workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in workplace safety and health. Our company is COR certified by the Newfoundland & Labrador Construction Safety Association. The NLCSA's Certificate of Recognition (COR) Program is a health and safety certification program for construction industry employers.

We believe it is good business practice and our duty to protect the natural and cultural resources of the communities we serve and have developed an Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001 Standards. Environmental management plans are an integral part of every project we undertake and we strive for continuous improvement in our performance.
Quality control represents as increasingly important concern for JCL Investments Inc. Any defect or failures in any of our constructed facilities or projects can result in very large costs, as well as lead to personal injury of our employees. We strive in eliminating costs and delays due to defects, quality, and re-construction of each of our projects. Quality control plays an important part in the design and planning stages of each project in regards to component configuration, material specification, and functional performance. During the construction phase, our quality control team tries to ensure conformance to these original design and planning decisions are met, and that each job is done right the first time.
Technology has a vital role to play in any modern workplace and at JCL Investments Inc. we believe it makes a huge difference to the way our business operates, and how well our staff are able to carry out their tasks. Not only is an on-line presence expected by customers and therefore is an essential component for businesses, new technology allows us to easily process day to day tasks, increase employee productivity, and transform how our business functions, as well as often saving us time and money. Our employees are equipped with the latest in laptops, tablets, GPS tracking equipment, VOIP phone services, and satellite internet and telephones.
JCL Investments Inc. has it's own in-house full-time IT staff to minimize company downtime as well as to maintain and monitor all electronic devices and equipment. We currently have eight windows 2012 servers running 24-7 with in-house email, cloud, and website services provided and updated on a regular basis. Our IT staff are also capable of basic windows based programming allowing us to customize software to assist in everyday employee tasks.
